Fenix Driver App app for iPhone and iPad

The application is based on New York City Livery Cabs & Yellow Taxis experience.

Application will receive dispatched job request from the dispatching system and driver will get the option to accept/reject the job request, if they accept the request then the driver will get the job based on how far they are from the job location.

The system will receive the request from the base or individuals and automatically submit the job to all available nearby drivers. This system is in complete compliance with New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission. The system has Auto Job Request accept system for drivers enabling them not to touch the tablets or any other mobile device while driving, that can ensure all drivers avoid accidents while operating the equipment, and allowing them to concentrate on the road. Accepting a trip is a one touch button if driver decides to manually accept jobs, this is a legal way for drivers to accept a job as mentioned by the New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission Commissioner.

System will keep track of all the on-going jobs, requests, assigned drivers location and available drivers. In case of emergencies, there is an option for the drivers to enable emergency panic which will trigger the information to the base for help.

Note : Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
